Mazur Total Automotive
Challenge: Design a new automotive mechanic shop on the site of a storied and sometimes infamous biker bar, a site that is not zoned for an automotive mechanic shop.
Challenge accepted. A very well respected business owner came to us with the idea of building on the “old Dewey’s site”. Previously an 18 acre mink farm and with just a small portion buildable, we had our work cut out for us. This buildable portion came with a derelict bar/beach volleyball compound. We worked with Hamburg Township to amend the zoning ordinance to allow Mazur Total Automotive. By working closely with the township and our civil engineers we were able to create an enviable and profitable building site. On the site we designed an 8 bay auto shop with office.
